Whelped June 18, 2009 9 Boys & 2 Girls
Party was one of four puppies in the litter I bred between Dogwoods XXIV KT of Golock MH WCX “Nugget” and OTCH MACH High Times Not A Newf UDX MH “Doobie”. This breeding combined my first two Master Hunter goldens as grandparents, Belvedere Blast of Dynamite MH WCX OD “Dyna” and Golden Loch Belvedere Bracken ** MH WCX OS “Bracken”. Party’s littermate Golden Against the Wind SH OA OAJ “Seger” is also very successful in both field and agility. Party was trained and handled to her Senior Hunter title by John and Nancy Miner of Miners Kennel in Sheridan, Illinois. Party is very athletic, extremely fast and a strong swimmer. She had a short field coat and is very easy to groom. She is a pleasure to have in the house and gets along well with all of the dogs in the house. Party is 3 years old, 58 pounds and red in color. She has all of her health clearances (excellent hips, elbows, cardiac, eyes and thyroid), is a SH (Senior Hunter) and has a WC (Working Certificate). This will be Party’s first litter. Hondo is owned and bred by Dr. Michael Connolly, DVM. He is out of OTCH MACH Sunfire's Undeniable VCD3 UDX RAE TDX MH NAP NJP WCX OBHF ADHF ** OS “Apollo” and Doc’s Hillbilly Lady “Ellie”. The Connollys currently own Hondo, his mother Ellie (9 years old) and grandmother Purdy (11 years old). Hondo’s basic training was done by Ron Wood in Chireno, Texas. Tim Milligan, also from Chireno, Texas, was instrumental in helping Jan Connolly obtain Hondo’s AKC Master Hunter title and three Judges Award of Merit and one Reserve Judges Award of Merit in AKC Field Trial Qualifying stakes. Jan is currently handling him in AKC Master and HRC Finished hunt tests. Hondo is the all around gentleman that is synonymous with the Golden Retriever. He has the classic golden appearance yet is an enthusiastic working dog. Hondo is a naturally talented field dog. He is a very stable and biddable dog with a wonderful temperament. Hondo is 6 years old, weighs 72 pounds and is a medium red color. His clearances include Penn-Hip in the 70th Percentile, elbows, cardiac and eyes. This is Hondo’s second litter.
